Chapter 12
Organization
One account can belong to several organizations; each has its own plan, members, assistants and data. The box at the top of the sidebar switches organization; the Organization page manages details and members.

The organization box at the top of the sidebar moves between the organizations you belong to, shows your role and opens Create new. On the Organization page, the Details tab is where you edit name, description, logo and find the Organization ID.
Use it when: You just got a second organization, need to change the logo or description, or support asks for your Organization ID.
Steps
- 1Click the organization box at the top of the sidebar: the list of organizations with your role and member count in each; click one to switch.
- 2Create new takes two steps: Name, Address, Email, Phone, then Next: Choose plan. Each account gets one free organization; the next one needs a paid plan.
- 3Open Organization in the sidebar: a table of Organization, Plan, Members, Status, Created, with a Search organizations box. On a row click the three-dot menu, View details.
- 4The detail page shows plan, status, Your role and two tabs, Details and Members. Under Organization info edit Name, Slug, Description, Logo URL and Save changes; only Owners and Admins can edit.
- 5Below: Plan & Billing, Contact info entered at creation, and System info with the Organization ID to send to support when needed.
Good to know
- The logo URL can come from Copy URL on an image in the Media library.
- Deleting an organization is permanent, requires typing DELETE and only the Owner can do it.
Outcome: You switch to the right organization, know how to create a new one and can update details, logo and find the Organization ID.
The Members tab lists who is in the organization, their role and seats used under your plan. Invite by email with a role; the invitee gets an email with an Accept invitation button valid for seven days.
Use it when: Adding a colleague, giving a manager read-only access, or creating a Chat-only account.
Steps
- 1Open the organization detail page, Members tab: the seat counter (4/50, say) and a table of Member, Role, Joined.
- 2Click Invite member. Five roles: Owner has full and sole control; Admin manages members, settings and billing; Member creates and edits content; Viewer is read-only; Chat only uses Chat.
- 3Enter the email, pick a role, Send invitation. Unaccepted invites sit under Pending invitations and already take a seat.
- 4The invitee receives the email right away: who invited them, which role, and an Accept invitation button valid for seven days. Clicking it signs them in (or signs them up on the spot) and lands them in the organization dashboard. Inviting the same email again resends the mail.
- 5Each person's three-dot menu: Change role (effective immediately) and Remove to take them out; what they created stays. The Owner role cannot be changed here; a member can leave with Leave organization.
Good to know
- When seats run out, Invite member locks with an upgrade hint.
- Billing and payment history are visible only to Owners and Admins.
Outcome: You can invite colleagues with the right role, know where the invitation goes, and how to change roles, remove or leave.
